P&M PURE MALT distinguishes itself by the softness of its fragrance, enhanced in part by aging in casks made of oak from the forest of Troncet. These casks are only lightly burnt so as to respect the taste profile of the Pietra malts. A first filling with malmsey and small-grained muscatel from the Gentile domain at Patrimonio enriches the tannins with the subtle aroma of honey, apricot and citrus fruit. The final assembly is made in barrels having contained eaux de vie from Domaine Mavela. This completes the very complex aromatic bouquet.
